Call For Papers

This workshop - [email protected]: "The Extended Mind" at 25 - will celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the publication of Andy Clark and David Chalmers’s enormously influential paper “The Extended Mind,” with the purpose of evaluating and building upon extended and situated approaches to mind and cognition. The talks will not only look back at recent decades’ debates, but will also present new perspectives on and applications of situated theorizing that are suited to a world more saturated than ever with cognitive aids and artifacts, especially technology-based ones.

We invite submissions of papers on the topic of the extended mind suitable for a 40 min. talk. Please submit by email to [email protected] by March 1st, 2023.

Accepted presenters will be notified by May15th.
